Weight Control: New Years Resolution: 10-Day Fast: Day 5
Day 5: 73.2 kilos
I woke up feeling a little weak. Did some stretching to warm up. That helped. I don’t quite know how to describe this exactly, but my body feels like it’s “draining.” I still have some “brain fog,” a little spinning in my head. It doesn’t prevent me from doing anything. But I hope it goes away.
I weighed 73,2 kilos this morning. That means I lost 1.5 kilos in 24 hours. I think the water weight loss is finished. I’m losing fat now: 1.5 kilos of fat. Great! I can see the difference on my stomach. I’m thinner, lighter. I move better. I like this new feeling. It’s the old me, the way I was before the weight gain. As of today, I’m only 1.2 kilos away from my goal of 72 kilos. Looks like I probably won’t have to do a full ten day fast to reach that goal. Cool! I’m not hungry. But I wouldn’t mind having a nice meal either!
New Suggestions: “You’re doing great work. Your body is burning fat. Your metabolism is burning calories. You’re not hungry. You have lots of energy. You can do your work. You can do moderate exercise. You’re sticking to your fast. In fact, your fast is working so well you might have to end it early.”
